VERNON HILLS, Ill., Aug. 25, 2026 — MediTour Facilitators LLC, doing business as MyMediTour, announced today that it is expanding access to selected international stem cell and regenerative medicine programs through hospitals and specialized stem cell clinics in its medical travel network. The initiative is designed to help patients identify potentially appropriate providers, submit medical records for provider-led evaluation, obtain treatment information and quotations, and coordinate international travel when a treating medical team determines that a patient may be eligible.
The expansion comes as patients and families continue to seek clearer information about regenerative medicine, a field that includes both established medical uses and applications that remain investigational, experimental or unapproved for particular conditions. MyMediTour said its coordination model is intended to distinguish access from endorsement: the company facilitates communication and logistics but does not determine whether a treatment is medically appropriate or likely to benefit an individual patient.
“Interest in regenerative medicine must be met with careful evaluation, clear disclosure and realistic expectations,” said Vanessa Melo Oliveira, President of MyMediTour. “Our role is to help patients obtain a provider-led review, understand the program being proposed and its limitations, and manage the practical steps involved in medical travel. Eligibility, treatment recommendations, informed consent and all clinical decisions remain the responsibility of the treating medical team.”
MyMediTour’s current public network includes selected regenerative medicine providers in destinations such as China, South Korea, Japan, Slovakia, Cyprus, Turkey and Colombia. Providers listed by the company include several stem cell hospitals in Turkey and China, Gangnam JS Hospital in Seoul, SwissMed Health in Cyprus, Cell Grand Clinic in Osaka, CellCenter Slovakia in Malacky and StemCells Colombia in Medellín. The presence of a clinic in the network does not mean that every program is available to every patient, that all listed applications have the same evidentiary status, or that authorization in one country is equivalent to approval by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
Treatment protocols can differ substantially between providers and jurisdictions. Relevant differences may include whether cells are collected from the patient or obtained from a donor, the tissue source, the degree of processing or culture, the laboratory involved, the route of administration, the number of proposed sessions, associated therapies and the follow-up plan. Program availability may also change as providers revise protocols or as local regulations and clinical requirements evolve.
For that reason, MyMediTour begins the coordination process with an individual case review rather than a standard treatment package. Patients may be asked to provide medical reports, diagnostic images, laboratory results, medication lists, previous treatment history and information about current symptoms and functional limitations. MyMediTour submits the available records to a selected provider, but the provider decides whether the information is sufficient, whether further testing or a consultation is required and whether the patient can be accepted.
When a provider responds, MyMediTour helps communicate the proposed program, estimated treatment charges, expected schedule and travel requirements. Its services may also include appointment coordination, accommodation and ground-transport planning, interpreter arrangements where available, and communication with the international provider before and during the trip. The scope of support varies by destination, provider and individual case.
MyMediTour said its provider research considers available information about physician credentials, facilities, treatment protocols, cell source and processing arrangements, patient-screening procedures, informed-consent practices and support for international patients. The company may request additional documentation when a program involves complex or nonstandard treatment. This review is intended to support informed coordination; it is not a regulatory approval, a guarantee of provider performance or a substitute for independent medical advice.
The company is also emphasizing the need for patients to understand the regulatory and evidentiary status of any proposed intervention. Some stem cell-based treatments have recognized uses in defined clinical settings, while many applications advertised to consumers have not been shown to be safe and effective for the conditions claimed. Patients should receive a clear explanation from the treating provider of the treatment’s status, foreseeable risks, alternatives, expected follow-up and the basis for any claims made about potential benefit.
MyMediTour does not provide medical treatment, diagnose conditions, prescribe therapies or recommend that a patient undergo a particular stem cell intervention. All medical decisions, eligibility assessments, treatment recommendations and informed-consent discussions are handled by independent treating medical professionals. Patients are encouraged to discuss international treatment options with their existing physicians and to consider how follow-up care will be managed after returning home.
The expanded access initiative reflects MyMediTour’s focus on responsible international coordination in an area where medical programs, terminology and regulatory requirements can vary significantly. The company will continue to evaluate provider information and communicate material limitations so that patients can make decisions based on documented case reviews rather than broad promotional claims.
